Where it until now only has been the largest companies benefiting from a robot, the availability is now much better. The small collaborative robots make it possible for smaller and medium sized companies to get their hands on the new technology. And there are several benefits of investing in a collaborative welding robot.** --- ## 1: It's collaborative The best reason to invest in a collaborative robot, is that it is just that; collaborative. This means, that the welders can work with the robot in welding tasks. This is also due to the fact that it easily and quickly can be integrated in an existing production. A welding robot is a sizeable investment for a company, and that makes the integration that much more important. Because the collaborative robot is intuitive and tangible to get going, the risk of failure, is very low. ## 2: It's time saving A collaborative robot saves time. First and foremost because it is a robot, but also because it is collaborative. This mean that it can work with a worker, who can safely work alongside the robot welding. When the welding robot is welding an item, the next item can be prepared at the same time. The time a welder otherwise would spend on that task, is reduced substantially. The entirety of the welding time disappears, because the robot is working while the worker is setting up the next item. The robot is also much faster and more concise in the welding work. If you have to produce one hundred items, the robot will do a much faster job and the results are consistent every time. ## 3: It requires less space A collaborative is very safe to work alongside and that means that you don't have to put up clumsy fences and safety sensors around the robot. The space required by the robot is reduced significantly compared to industrial robots, where more comprehensive safety precautions are required. ## 4: It advances the company technologically The welding robot will advance the company technologically. Welders are not only given the option to do their craft, but it also develops technological skills in your work with the robot. It's getting increasingly difficult to recruit young people to the welding industry. This is where robot welders can play a vital part in making it more attractive, for the workers that not only want to gain new practical skills, but also want to work with the newest technology. With the industrial robots it's often necessary to hire a robotics operator, who can program and control the robot. With the very intuitive and tangible collaborative robot it's the welders themselves, who become the operators. ## 5: It makes room for good craftsmanship The robot can takeover some of the workload from the welders - specifically the boring and monotonous tasks. The welder still keeps the taks, which require good craftsmanship and a human touch. A robot in the house will because of these reasons make it possible for the welder to take care of the more specialised and exciting tasks.
